SHAKESPEARE ON LOVE

Shakespeare Quotations on Love

My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
The more I have, for both are infinite.
(Romeo and Juliet, 2.2.139-41)

Hear my soul speak:
The very instant that I saw you, did
My heart fly to your service.
(The Tempest, 3.1.60-3)

Who ever loved that loved not at first sight?
(As You Like It, 3.5.84)

This bud of love, by summer's ripening breath,
May prove a beauteous flower when next we meet.
(Romeo and Juliet, 2.2.121-2)

Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind,
And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.
(A Midsummer Night's Dream, 1.1.231-2)

If thou remember'st not the slightest folly
That ever love did make thee run into,
Thou hast not loved.
(As You Like It, 2.4.33-5)

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
(Sonnet 116)

Eternity was in our lips and eyes,
Bliss in our brows' bent; none our parts so poor
But was a race of heaven.
(Antony and Cleopatra, 1.3.36-8)

Doubt thou the stars are fire;
Doubt that the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt I love.
(Hamlet, 1.2.123-6)

Calming rain

Its just than now at this moment,
I know I have never gotten to a place so calm

After all the turmoil, the tides and wind.
This is the rain I wanted so bad, this calming moment

Right here, now, this moment with you
I could swear, perhaps, I never felt anything like it

Nothing so calm, nothing so warm
nothing more tender, Nothing like the calming rain

THE QUEEN By Vincent. .W. Matinde

If i ever thought it was easy.
I have been proved wrong.
Feelings seemingly erasable.
Their prints firmly in me.
I am my god, ready to forget.
But i am also my devil, cant let go.
My heart, plucked with ease.
Guitar.
Love, lust, infatuation.
All in one.
Directed towards one.
Eyes, smile, laugh.
Contributors.
If only i could hold my heart in my hand.
I would choose to love or not.
But she is already too royal.
Her head already too crowned.
The queen.

The Unspoken- By Esther Neema

I have learned to listen to the words in silence
For if you can't hear in silence, you cant feel the power of words said

For it is in the unsaid that volumes are spoken
For its in thine eyes that emotions show

Its in the words not said
for in those that are said one may slander or give false praise

For man has been know to make promises that didn't mean a thing
For woman has used words to bring warriors down

But in the words not said the actions are loud
In tear, in smiles and in silence

for it's in silence do some goodbyes come
for it's in silence does love, romance and friendship end

Is never about the words we say, its in those we never said
it is in the unspoken
